ACCESSIBILITY AND SPECIAL NEEDS
Our elevator is temporarily out of service. If you require wheelchair accessibility, please call 313.875.2264 before arriving at the Museum. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you!
Motown Museum guided tours provide personalized service to visitors. Equipped with an elevator, ramp for wheelchairs and wheelchair-accessible restrooms, we welcome any and all guests with special needs—our exhibits are accessible for visitors in wheelchairs.
Motown Museum is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone, and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Motown Museum is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
