Motown artists were known for their sharp wardrobes, polished style and crisp dance routines. Examples of performers’ custom designed “uniforms”—coordinated high-style suits, shirts and shoes for the men and sleek, sophisticated sequined dresses for the women—are displayed in the Motown Museum Gallery.
